The successful candidate will have the ability to to work closely with a project team and the customer.
The Estimator is responsible for doing material takeoffs from blueprints and job specification books.
They work closely with customers to provide them with the pricing they need within their timeframe for underground utility projects.
timelines, create schedules, and oversee progress of the project to achieve completion of goals timely.
Overview of
Responsibilities:
Analyze required documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of product Prepare and order material for each job along with cost estimates for the products Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors Manage bids from vendors and contractors Use bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis Coordinate with customer (project manager) who is installing job for contractor and verify material and quantities with them Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organization Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs Minimum
Qualifications:
Associated degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field or the equivalence of two years of comparable work experience within this field.
Excellent mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving skills Excellent project management skills Familiar with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects Ability to read and interpret technical documents Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Skills preferred but not required:
Three to five years' experience in Estimator role Experience in Construction Management Our Company:

We produce high-strength precast concrete to manufacture underground drainage structures.
Our batching, placement and molding procedures all contribute to the production of durable and dependable concrete products.
We have customers throughout northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

$55,000.
